The owner of this journal is Gideon Pines. He found the book while he is walking in the woods, where he met Pacifica Southeast, his best friend.
Gideon hides the book when someone is beside him or he is in a public place. He sometimes presents the book to Pacifica. But sometimes, Pacifica doesn't care. This makes Gideon sad.
Journal 3 represents the truth behind the town. Since that it is number 3, there is also Journal 1 and 2. It can also unlock several mysteries. Maybe it can unlock the mystery of the Gleeful twins.
Sometimes, he use the journal as a plan and a key. He's been a lot more curious when he saw The Mystic Amulet of Dipper Gleeful. Maybe it's fake or real. But it is not confirmed, yet.
Some says that Dipper Gleeful is looking for the journal but it is more likely he is searching for Journal 1, not knowing about this one.
